During June, July and August, there will be one Sunday service at 9:30 a.m. and a Wednesday evening service, starting at 7:30 p.m. Blood drive: On Thursday, May 30, Antioch will host a blood drive for the American Red Cross. Sign up online by enterting the site code ANTLU. What is your prescription for Antioch's future well-being and growth? Your household is invited to join 2 others for a half-hour conversation with Pastor David. Pastor wants to hear about your expectations, your commitments, and your dreams (i.e. your prescription) for Antioch's wellness and growth. He has a guide sheet for your preparation before the conversation – get one today as you exit the worship area. Sign up for a selected summer Sunday (after 9:30 worship from 10:45-11:15 a.m.) or a selected summer Wednesday (after 7:30 worship from 8:15-8:45 p.m.) in the narthex. Be one of the first 54 households to write your prescription for a healthy and thriving Antioch! Congregation Council Elections, June 9: The office of the President of the Congregation is open; it is a 3 year term and may be reelected. Also open are: Area Coordinator for Grow (this includes the areas of Evangelism and Stewardship). Area Coordinator for Serve (this includes Worship and Arts, Health Ministry, Fellowship, and Social Ministry). The holder of an Area Coordinator position is the liaison and representative for the various committees/teams and Council. These positions are two year terms with the option of re-election. Please contact any Council Member if you are interested in running for a position. Picture directory: Antioch is creating a new member photo directory. If you've not already had your photo taken or submitted your photo for the directory, there's still time to be included. Contact the church office for details to submit a picture, be included and get a copy of the directory. Also, let us know if you've changed your address, phone or email address. |
